Katara, a reluctant veteran of Luceti's most recent experiment, went to find Aang. "Aang?"

Aang was trying to get back to normal after the experiment. Or at least to keep his mind off of what had happened the previous week. Even if none of the others were likely to be aware it even happened and even if he should be considering himself single ever since the 'break-up' he declared all those months ago, he still couldn't but feel guilty. And confused. Those special feelings, that he was sure he could only feel for Katara? He had felt them for someone else - for Arietta. And... he thinks he even felt a little bit for Leah, too. But at least with her, they didn't go beyond just talking with each other. It still worried him that he felt them to begin with. Did that make what he'd had with Katara, what he hoped to one day have again, less special?

He tried not to reflect on these as he sat outside the house. He focused on the small ball of air that he was bending up and down beneath his hand, almost like a bald cat with a ball of yarn. It was a lot more simple than most of Luceti's problems. But the ball dissipated the moment he heard that voice, and he turned to face Katara with an automatic smile that was just a bit weighed down by his worries.

"Oh... Hey, Katara!"

She don't care if she's rude or mean or "not very nice" when speaking about the ones who've taken Sona into their bodies. As far as she's concerned, they're all wet blankets and deserve to be poked and prodded as.]

We could probably use wind to launch the pies at a faraway object. That way, they can't pin it on us since we're no where in sight. It's like raining pies! I can make the pies so we have whatever we want in them.

[ Ever since Korra had found out about Sokka's death, she had been slightly unnerved whenever he was around or whenever he came up. In all honesty, she was almost relieved when he left on a mission again, though it also served as a sharp reminder as to how he had died in the first place. On a mission, Shikamaru said. Around the time when she had first shown up.

It itched. She wanted to know what it was. But she didn't want to confront Sokka about it - not yet, anyway. Not until she had some other input, first. So Korra goes looking around the house for her past life. This was what she was supposed to do when she wanted guidance, wasn't it? ]

[He'd been wanting to talk to Korra. She's the only housemate who was with Sokka on that draft whom he hadn't heard about it from, after all. He and Katara still hadn't made their move in confronting Sokka - waiting for his return - but he was wondering to himself if Korra had any perspective on the matter.

But right now? He was out behind the house, meditating.]

[It takes him a bit to get back to it. He's been avoiding others for the most part because it just makes him so anxious. He's afraid of being around them - of losing who he is. But he does check and nervously wonders whether or not he's still up for it.]

[To say that something had been bothering him since the incident with Edmundo the Blade was an understatement. Eley was having trouble getting rid of certain thoughts... and feelings that were definitely undesirable. He didn't particularly want to bother his friends about it, but he realised that even when he tried to hide it, they found a way of getting it out of him anyway.

...there was one person in particular he felt might be able to quell the uneasy thoughts he'd been experiencing. So he tries sending a message to Aang in the hope of a response.]

[Someone sounds tired. Adela, in fact, hasn't slept properly in days because of the friendship bracelets she's been making - beads cut from lapis lazuli and each with a feathery silver clasp. She hadn't expected the project to be so difficult, but now that it's done she can finally move onto something she's more used to.

At least she doesn't have to write, that would just remind her of how sore her hands are.]

Aang? The bracelets you wanted are finished. You can come by the forge to pick them up at any time.

[The unfortunate thing that Red was forever seeming to learn about Luceti was that it is strange. Very strange. What was doubly unfortunate about this was that he was on the road of owing 1 clever girl 3 whole, WHOLE, cookies.

And for what reason? Because her 70 something year old grandpa was actually apparently 15 here. And this was hardly meant to be odd at all in Luceti.

This was the same grandpa whose door Red was knocking on that day, to see if he was in. ....for some very important questions.

I spoke to somebody who likes to write and it made me think about writing? Don't know if I'll keep it up. Hand hurts already but hi.

When everything went weird were you OK? I turned into a pokémon for ages and then I turned human but I was really quiet. It felt funny. More funny than being a pokémon. Hard to describe.

By the way if you ever cook anything that's burnt or you can't eat it can you tell me? Snorlax will eat anything.

[Aang shows up at the lawn in a timely manner, air scooter dissipating as he nears and heads towards Katara, some of the urgency showing on his face.]

[Steve sets out early the next afternoon after his conversation with Loki. Despite his own misgivings about the situation, he still thinks too many people are quick to jump on the defensive without any attempt to negotiate. And since no one else seems to want the job, it's up to Steve to try and extinguish the flames before they overtake the village.

He goes to the library because it seems like the obvious choice if he hopes to find someone he can talk to. He's heard talk that Aang is one of Wan Shi Tong's negotiators. He hopes he can talk to the boy first.]

Hello? Is anyone here?

[Aang isn't that far into the library - so oddly, eerily empty. He had just finished greeting Helios when he heard another familiar voice. Aang glances around the shelf he's near towards the entrance.]

Steve? Is that you?

[This fine day, House Avatar will have an unexpected and perhaps not entirely welcome visitor. Not that he cares, Wan Shi Tong has pressing business with the Avatar.

With a thump, the giant owl spirit lands before the house and marches right up to it. His tall and dignified self looking around for a moment before he lifts a talon to knock, not so quietly, on the door.]

Avatar Aang. I know you are in there. I will speak with you.

[Aang peeks out from a second floor window, looking towards the owl in concern.]

Wan Shi Tong! Hey, I'm right here! [He'd invite him to come in, but... well.]

Everything had happened to fast. One moment Zuko was helping to fight off the cultists, and in the next, he saw one of them going after Aang. The Avatar had been more focused on Theo than what was going on around him. Determined not to see anything happen to his friend, Zuko had to do something about it. And he did. The firebender having put himself between Aang and the crazed cultist. One moment he was running and the next... one of those blood weapons had sunk into his body.

He didn't remember much after that. There had been shouting, some hurried words of encouragement. Saying his name and telling him not to give up. Everything had been a blur, including the attempts to heal him. Nala's power had kept him alive long enough to get him back to the village. But as they arrived, he was fading fast. Slipping in and out of consciousness, and looking deathly pale. He had lost a lot of blood, and was hanging on by by mere threads.

Despite his tenacity and will to live, if something wasn't done soon, Zuko would lose this fight.

[It was a desperate situation. They'd managed to get Theo back, but if they lost Zuko in the process, it wouldn't feel like a real victory. He was still trying with Nala, but things weren't working out. They needed something else.]

Hang in there, Zuko. Just hang in there. [He was thinking over their options, wondering which if any of the people around the village could treat him.] We'll find help.

November 27th, Action

[For the first time in Katara doesn't know how long, her head isn't aching. Her shivering has finally stopped. And when she cautiously moves to sit up, the room isn't spinning.

...things are different. She's not sure if she's imagining it, or if it's some result of her sickness or a shift, but she can tell things are different. And was Toph really back, or was that part of her fever? She's not even sure.

Glancing around she notices a bell by her bed. Worth a shot. She reaches for it - ugh, her arm feels so heavy - and rings it.]

November 27th, Action

[The only damper on everything great that had been happening recently was Katara's condition - it had been worrying him, especially with little signs of improvement with their return to the present.

But once the bell is sounded, there's the sound of running - and brief air scootering - from the kitchen.

And then a teenage monk is quickly barging into the room, his face painted with concern. He's been getting taller the past few months, and from the end of their time traveling trip onwards he's ended up growing some hair on his chin. He's framed in the doorway, with a loose noodle dangling from his mouth, and he finally takes a moment to slurp it up before he approaches, asking softly.]

Katara? Is - is something wrong?

Talk to them... Perona's lips thin into a tight line. She'll have to leave that to someone else, actually. If she ever had the opportunity to speak with a single one of those shitheads, she'd probably had a few choice things to say to them - good things done or not. She suffered, they all did, and they need to account for that. She will never forget, and she will never forgive.]
