Don't worry. Raven's friendlier than she acts sometime. I'm sure they're all glad to have you around!

At the least they seemed thankful to have the skillset of 'traditional works' available to them once more.

[She's assuming that there was someone before her, anyway. She doesn't quite know who or what the story is behind them, but it might be better if she just doesn't ask.]

Y-yeah. [There's a slight strain in his smile at that. At remembering Sokka. But he tries to keep up a cheery tone.] You're gonna make a great addition to this place for sure!

... Perhaps, someday, I shall ask about whoever was before me.

[It's hard to spot, but she does notice the strain even tired as she is. Yes, it seems like now definitely isn't the time to ask.]

[He pauses for a moment.]

His name is Sokka. I could tell you about him... anytime.

[The expression on his face does it - before she can think about it she reaches out, a hand on his shoulder as she tries to get him to look her in the eye.]

Once you are ready to and not a moment sooner, Aang. I could not ask more of you.

[The gesture takes him by surprise. And he looks at her fondly.]

Thank you, Adela. That's very considerate of you.

[The instant she's called out on it she blushes, withdrawing her hand and clearing her throat.]

'tis little point in telling me such things now. It is not as if I need to know of him - Sokka.

I guess not. The short story's just that he's my friend, he worked here, and he's back home now. If you ever want to know more, I'll tell you.

... I will keep it in mind.

Well I just did! But, I can head off now if you want. [He wonders if he's overstayed his welcome.]

... Perhaps I shall as well. I have to call someone here, but I intend to explore the town a bit more afterwards.

[Which will, inevitably, lead to the hot springs...]

[Her word for resting up or her word for seeing him around? Who knows...]

[He'll assume both, because that's just the kind of guy he is. He bows with a meek smile.]
