Katara, a reluctant veteran of Luceti's most recent experiment, went to find Aang. "Aang?"

Aang was trying to get back to normal after the experiment. Or at least to keep his mind off of what had happened the previous week. Even if none of the others were likely to be aware it even happened and even if he should be considering himself single ever since the 'break-up' he declared all those months ago, he still couldn't but feel guilty. And confused. Those special feelings, that he was sure he could only feel for Katara? He had felt them for someone else - for Arietta. And... he thinks he even felt a little bit for Leah, too. But at least with her, they didn't go beyond just talking with each other. It still worried him that he felt them to begin with. Did that make what he'd had with Katara, what he hoped to one day have again, less special?

He tried not to reflect on these as he sat outside the house. He focused on the small ball of air that he was bending up and down beneath his hand, almost like a bald cat with a ball of yarn. It was a lot more simple than most of Luceti's problems. But the ball dissipated the moment he heard that voice, and he turned to face Katara with an automatic smile that was just a bit weighed down by his worries.

"Oh... Hey, Katara!"

"Hey," she smiled at him and came to sit beside him. "Here you are. I was looking for you."

"Oh... You were?" he said with just a little uncertain surprise before settling back into his sitting position as she joined him. He still had nervous thoughts playing in his head, but Katara was smiling, so it hopefully wasn't something bad. So Aang continued on a little more light-heartedly. "What's up, Katara? I didn't forget a chore again, did I?"

"No, nothing like that," she said, her smile fading into attentive concern. "I just wanted to talk to you about the last experiment. I wanted to see how you were doing."

And there it was. His own smile faded similarly as he shifted a little nervously, hugging his knees into his chest. "Oh. Right. The... the experiment. Well... I- I guess I'm okay. I feel like... myself. It's just weird, remembering that week." he said, glancing off uncertainly.

It would be easy to pretend he hadn't been affected - aside from some chocolate-induced hand-holding with Katniss at the spa, his encounters primarily happened in the remoteness of the forest. But he wants to face this (and is sure he'd be seen through anyway). After all, the way Katara said it implied she was being understanding. But some guilt still slipped into Aang's voice as he went on.

"Because... I was affected. Without even realizing it, I was having - my feelings were all mixed up."

She gave Aang a small smile, "That's what happens. That's what this experiment does. I know, it makes you feel so... well, a lot of different things."

He nodded at her understanding. "I see. It definitely did for me. I always thought my feelings - that they only went one way." That I could only feel like that for you. "But that week? I think I felt that way for two different girls. One of them I'd never even met before. It - it was... I don't know how to describe it." It was definitely confusing. "And this is... how it's always been?"

Her smile took on shades of pain and understanding, "Ever since I've been here."

She wasn't entirely sure how she felt about Aang having feelings for other people. Part of her was relieved, part of her felt a little lost - but she told herself that wasn't important now. It was about him.

He looked at her as he said that, absorbing her words with wide eyes, and then he looked towards the ground to reflect for a moment. Arietta, Leah... he didn't think he felt those feelings anymore. But he knew that in one case, one of those experiments led to real feelings for Katara. What if they still had feelings? He'd been briefed about the Valentines experiment many times, but not on what comes after.

So he looked back at her with an uncertain expression.

"What do you do when it's over?"

[The first thing soars gracefully over Norma's head, like a majestic bird of prey. Frankly? She don't care if she's rude or mean or "not very nice" when speaking about the ones who've taken Sona into their bodies. As far as she's concerned, they're all wet blankets and deserve to be poked and prodded as.]

Seriously? Ugh, gross...why d'you like people like that? They're good for nothing else than getting your head and hair soggy. Sometimes I think their brains are the same way.

What do you mean? They never made my hair wet. They've always seemed kind and smart to me, and... and I really like to make them happy.

I guess I am sorta famous in Konoha now.. but I was meaning here. People I don't know keep saying I was here before, I just don't remember it.

We could probably use wind to launch the pies at a faraway object. That way, they can't pin it on us since we're no where in sight. It's like raining pies! I can make the pies so we have whatever we want in them.

Mud is probably pretty popular this year.

[Humming, Perona looks skyward and twirls her parasol in her hands. Something fun that isn't scary? Of course there are things like that she likes, she just wanted to tease him. It's always the most fun when she gets a good scare out of someone...it's been far too long since she's done that.]

Mmn...I like cute things, like animals with fangs, claws, and fluffy tails. Reading, too! Ghost and horror stories...and murder mysteries~! And shopping for clothes, and singing cursed songs under a full moon with my hollow ghosts - oh, and dancing with them or with Bearsy. But making mischief is my favorite.

...And sailing. [Her glance is cast out in the direction of the ocean.] I miss the sea...my sea.

Winry claps a little for him to encourage his tricks. It's pretty neat to see all the tricks you can do with Aangs powers, even if she'd never do the same if she had the chance.]

So, you've never been rained on? Or knocked over by a wayward wave? Or gotten your shoes, socks, and feet wet by stepping in so big, grimy ol' puddle? Whooo do you think is responsible for all those things happening, hmmm?

[Half of Norma knows her logic is extremely flawed, but the other half of her is telling her to shut up. And it's hard to argue with an overzealous, blabbery, hotheaded spirit.]

I don't think they cause all of that. But I love being rained on! And riding waves! Plus it's fun to run around with squishy socks. It's great! [While Kipinn's fondness of Sona instead combines with Aang's admiration of Katara for double the worship.]

[ She puts on an extra burst of speed and draws up level with him. ]

Well, Aang, it's nice to see you again, it's been far too long, but I think we should catch up later okay? Like, say, at the finish line! [ And she passes him- just. ]

Really? What's so suspicious about it? Isn't it great to already have some friends around?

[ Uhhhh. ] Great! I totally smashed your time, like I said.

[He blinks. Stares a moment. And smiles.]

Whoa, really? Great job, Korra! I never should've doubted you. Those winds gave you some trouble, but this proves you really have the spirit of an airbender!

[He listens carefully with affirmative nods.]

See? Those are all nice things. I like animals and stories, and... singing and dancing! Making mischief's good too, but I like it when it's nicer.

I like the sea too. And... I do miss mine. But it's probably not the same as yours.
