Well I don't mind either way. By the way, you're welcome. And thanks for wanting to listen to me.

[He might be laughing lightly before continuing.]

If you can believe it, I was a very different kind of person when I was a kid. I don't know if you've ever met my dad, but I was very much like him.

I don't know if I met your dad either. Who is he? [Somehow they didn't cover that subject already.]

His name is Vegeta. He's actually here in Luceti.

[savedtheworld]

Vegeta? I... I know him! He's really tough. So you're party of his family, too?

[capsulepresident]

Yeah, I'm his son. Sorry for my dad's behavior too if he did anything to you in a bad way. He's...not exactly very nice.

[savedtheworld]

Don't worry about it! He just acts grumpy, but he's really a lot nicer than that. I know it. So... You used to be more like him, then?

[capsulepresident]

Yeah. But I grew out of that phase when I went to school for the first time, since before then mom usually had me tutored at home so dad could keep training me.

[Then he sighs.]

That's when things changed. Most of the time, I kept to myself while my best friend Goten who also went to school with me was more open to being friends with people. I don't know why, I guess I thought everyone else was beneath me because I was a prodigy and no one would ever be able to outdo me in grades. It continued that way for a long time.

[savedtheworld]

I see. Being a prodigy... I think I can see how that could set you away from others. That can make it hard for others to understand you. [Or think it's not fair to play air scooter tag with you.]

[capsulepresident]

Yeah. But I really should learn to let it go, I don't know why I can't.

[savedtheworld]

Because you feel like... You don't really belong around others. They're not your people, and they won't really understand you.

[capsulepresident]

That's...exactly it, Aang. It sounds like you know from experience.

[savedtheworld]

It's... something I feel like sometimes.

[He pauses, hesitates before going on.]

Like... right now.

[capsulepresident]

Is it because you're the Avatar? From the way Mai told me about it, you sound like you're really important to people.

[He pauses himself then goes on.]

I admit I'm a little jealous because even though people say I'm important, they could easily replace me as the president of my company.

[savedtheworld]

It has to do with that. Being an Avatar... It puts me on another level than different people. But... there's more beyond that. There's no one else around who knows what it's like to be an air nomad.

Well... One day I'll be replaced as the Avatar.

[capsulepresident]

There's no other air nomads in your world? What happened to them?

[He ponders on that and asks more questions.]

So you'll teach someone else how to bend all the elements like you and they'll take over for you?

[savedtheworld]

The Fire Nation happened. I... I'm the only one left.

It's not like that. When... when my time comes, I'll be reincarnated. My next life'll be a different person and will have to learn all over again.

[capsulepresident]

You're the last of your people? That's something I understand to a degree. My dad and Goku are the last survivors of the Saiyan race too.

[He seems genuinely surprised.]

Reincarnated? Wait you become a new person? What about your family and friends who knew you as Aang?

[savedtheworld]

They - they are? But.... I don't think you can really understand. [In the same way he doesn't think Ikki understands, as an extension of his fear.] Being a son of a survivor's not the same as being a survivor.

I do. And my friends and family... any of 'em who are still around... well, they'll have to deal with it.

[capsulepresident]

Sorry, I didn't mean to offend you.

[A sigh.]

But will you still remember them?

I know you didn't.

In what way do you mean? My spirit'll still remember... but my reincarnation, she'll be making her own memories. I'll only be able to show her mine sometimes. [At least as a spirit with the spiritual link intact, he'll have all the time in the world to teach her things and give her messages for his family! Yep, nothing can go wrong there at all!]

That's what I meant. I was wondering if your reincarnation would remember everything you did, but I guess you answered my question.

[He sighs again before another question pops into his mind.]

This is going to sound weird of me to ask, but how much do you know about the magic in this world?

I know a lot about it. I've only made pacts with a few of them... but I attend the magic class at school all the time, so I learned lots about them.

[capsulepresident]

Do you think it's possible one of the teachers can teach me? I'd like to communicate with the spirits.
