You're the last of your people? That's something I understand to a degree. My dad and Goku are the last survivors of the Saiyan race too.

[He seems genuinely surprised.]

Reincarnated? Wait you become a new person? What about your family and friends who knew you as Aang?

They - they are? But.... I don't think you can really understand. [In the same way he doesn't think Ikki understands, as an extension of his fear.] Being a son of a survivor's not the same as being a survivor.

I do. And my friends and family... any of 'em who are still around... well, they'll have to deal with it.

But will you still remember them?

I know you didn't.

In what way do you mean? My spirit'll still remember... but my reincarnation, she'll be making her own memories. I'll only be able to show her mine sometimes. [At least as a spirit with the spiritual link intact, he'll have all the time in the world to teach her things and give her messages for his family! Yep, nothing can go wrong there at all!]

That's what I meant. I was wondering if your reincarnation would remember everything you did, but I guess you answered my question.

This is going to sound weird of me to ask, but how much do you know about the magic in this world?

I know a lot about it. I've only made pacts with a few of them... but I attend the magic class at school all the time, so I learned lots about them.

[capsulepresident]

Do you think it's possible one of the teachers can teach me? I'd like to communicate with the spirits.

[savedtheworld]

Of course! Raine and the other teachers... They'd be helpful with that kind of thing.

[capsulepresident]

But how does someone communicate with these spirits? How exactly does it work for someone who's not very spiritual?

[savedtheworld]

It can work for people who aren't very spiritual. It's just about finding the right mindset to attract the spirits. And going to the right places help.

[capsulepresident]

Right mindset? I'm a little confused.

[savedtheworld]

Well, each of the spirits has their own personality. They're more likely to appear to people when they're showing certain traits that go along with their personalities. And in addition to that, it helps to have an open mind.

[capsulepresident]

Well I'm pretty open minded to a lot of things. But how will I know if a certain trait in my personality will cause the spirit to appear?

[savedtheworld]

You... you can learn that from the classes. About all the spirit's different personalities. It's not too hard to remember.

Thanks Aang, I appreciate all the advice you've been giving me. Though I'd still like to train with you if that's all right.

You're welcome. And it's - well... We can still train! ...Sometime. [It's weird - just thinking of going to meet up to him to train was making him feel uneasy.]
