Book 8: Stay Flaming, Next Life [Video/Action]
[It seemed like a normal day for the 14-year old Avatar until airbending training came to an end with no sign of Korra. There were any number of reasons for her absence - she didn't exactly have a reputation for punctuality - but he couldn't help but worry. He started towards the other Avatar House to check, only to find Bolin, now the sole resident of the house. And there was only one conclusion: Korra, his reincarnation, had gone back home, to whatever world it was he and his friends would help to shape in the future.
He addressed the journals with a light smile, and he tried not to sound solemn.]
Hi, everyone. It's me, Aang. I just wanted to let you all know that Korra's gone back home. From what I know... she's going to be fine and become a great Avatar. And she's gonna save a lot of people, including my family. But aside from all that, while she was here, she was... funny and tough and nice and a great friend. [A little tougher than he expected. But she was also a living not-so-welcome reminder of his own mortality, due to being his next life. He still regretted not getting the chance to talk over some issues with her.]
I feel grateful to her, and I hope you all remember her, too.
[Action]
[Aang will spend time at the item shop and the clothing shop getting some manner of materials for this "Halloween" thing that Ikki keeps talking about. Feel free to run into him; he'll be collecting large quantities of red and blue materials piecemeal to make a costume for Appa that looks like the "Superman" person that Katie told him about. He'll also be trying to put together a Robin costume for himself.]

I'm sorry to hear about Korra, Aang. I know you'll miss having her around, and while I never met her, with a sterling recommendation like that I can honestly say I'm sorry that I never did.
[He disappears below the counter as he slides the pie into the oven to bake]
Still, it's probably better that she's at home with her friends and family. I know that probably doesn't make you feel any less disappointed that she's gone, but it's for the best.

[Luke leans against a countertop]
There's nothing wrong with being sad she's gone though. Its like I told you before. You got a chance to see beyond your lifetime, and that's always nice.

You're welcome, Bolin. It seemed like the least I could do. I know she made some friends while she was here, so they had to know. [And announcing it... helped to give it that finality, which helped him to move with that wind.]

[She remembers the boy from art club and she's curious about the materials he's buying. It seems like a lot for a boy his size to be purchasing, but perhaps he's going to make a garment for more than one person, or perhaps it's for a curtain or a tent.]
Is that material for something you're making for the art club?
[Action]
Oh... Hello, Konan! No, it's not really for the art club. It's for Halloween!
[Action]
[She doesn't think Halloween is a person, but she supposes she could be wrong.]
An event of some sort?

What do you need that much material for?

Hello, Yuri! I'm gonna make a Halloween costume for my bison!
action;
[ She shrugs. ]
I guess I've seen people do it with dogs and cats, a bison works too.
