Book 8: Stay Flaming, Next Life [Video/Action]
[It seemed like a normal day for the 14-year old Avatar until airbending training came to an end with no sign of Korra. There were any number of reasons for her absence - she didn't exactly have a reputation for punctuality - but he couldn't help but worry. He started towards the other Avatar House to check, only to find Bolin, now the sole resident of the house. And there was only one conclusion: Korra, his reincarnation, had gone back home, to whatever world it was he and his friends would help to shape in the future.
He addressed the journals with a light smile, and he tried not to sound solemn.]
Hi, everyone. It's me, Aang. I just wanted to let you all know that Korra's gone back home. From what I know... she's going to be fine and become a great Avatar. And she's gonna save a lot of people, including my family. But aside from all that, while she was here, she was... funny and tough and nice and a great friend. [A little tougher than he expected. But she was also a living not-so-welcome reminder of his own mortality, due to being his next life. He still regretted not getting the chance to talk over some issues with her.]
I feel grateful to her, and I hope you all remember her, too.
[Action]
[Aang will spend time at the item shop and the clothing shop getting some manner of materials for this "Halloween" thing that Ikki keeps talking about. Feel free to run into him; he'll be collecting large quantities of red and blue materials piecemeal to make a costume for Appa that looks like the "Superman" person that Katie told him about. He'll also be trying to put together a Robin costume for himself.]

[Luke's obviously trying to distract Aang, and hopefully it's working]
But I guess for us its as common as going sailing in your world.

My family isn't called the Skywalkers for nothing, though. We're all pilots, really.

Yes, my father was a skilled pilot in his youth. Or...right now as you'd know him. And my twin is too, she's quite the natural, really.
That's really cool. I didn't know you had a twin - sister? But hey, if your family's the Skywalkers, would my family be called the Airbenders?
[Luke can't help but smile at the question.]
I think you could call yourself that if you wanted. Aang Airbender has an alliterative ring to it. Skywalker was just my father's family name, but if you don't have one you can always make one up.
Really? Huh. It does sound kinda nice. But then again, it probably wouldn't be nice for me to use my people's name just for my family. That's actually something that confuses me when I think about family names. Your name-name is decided by your parents, but how do family names start?
