But mine was a lot more clearer. [Even if did sound... kinda crueal.] M-maybe the next one will be helpful! [Clears throat] "You tend to disregard the word of..." anyone who isn't blonde?

[dissonates]

...A blind man who speaks to people based on hair colour. Right.

That does sound pretty weird. Maybe you have some special way of telling hair color? But I guess that's silly. [When you're blind, you're blind, right?

...And his face is perfectly normal thank you every much.]

[dissonates]

I doubt that. Unless there's a way of recognizing it by how it feels. ...And that just sounds invasive.

Then I really don't know how it'd work. You don't look any invasive. But at least there's one more thing on the card, maybe that'll be more-

[But as he reads it to himself, he turns pale and finds himself trailing off.]

[dissonates]

[Asch waits for a moment, but he swiftly loses patience.]

...What? What's the problem?

[He gives a concerned glance towards Asch, then speaks slowly.]

It... it says... "Watch your heart. You've got a condition. We... We wouldn't want you to die again, would we?"

[dissonates]

[....

Rather than get upset or overreact, Asch is quiet for a moment, vaguely troubled, before his lips curve into a scowl.]

...So I ended up with more health problems. Big surprise there.

Is... is your heart okay, Luke?

[dissonates]

My heart's fine. [He sounds a little defensive; honestly, he has no idea.] I walked all this way and didn't die, so it must not be that important.

[savedtheworld]

If this helps you live, it's gotta be important! We can't know for sure what'll mess with your heart.

[dissonates]

What do you suggest then, I hide in my house and hope for the best? Because that won't get old very quickly.

[savedtheworld]

I don't know... Maybe try to find someone who's good at hearts? And it's better to be bored than dead.

[dissonates]

If that card is to be believed, I've already died, and that hasn't slowed me down. I'll take my chances.

[And since he's feeling particularly stubborn again, he'll try to brush past Aang and keep walking.]

[Aang finds himself distracted by the uncomfortable thought of dying and coming back, so Asch succeeds in slipping away. But he tries to stumble after him after regaining his senses.]

Wait! Are you sure you'll be okay?

[dissonates]

[So much for getting away easy.]

Does this place look dangerous?

[savedtheworld]

[It's not that easy with this guy, memory or not.]

Not very dangerous, but it can be bad cuz you can't see! What if you fall into that river without even knowing?

[dissonates]

...There's a river?

[Yeah, he didn't really think this through.]

Yeah, if you kept walking in that direction, you coulda walked right into that river, Luke.

[dissonates]

[Wow, this isn't going to be annoying at all.]

...Then... then point me in a good direction to follow. ...Please.

[savedtheworld]

Try that way! [He points. ...And after a moment it hits him, then he guides him by the shoulder to face towards the plaza.] There's a bunch of houses and stuff over there. I'm sure there's people there who can help you more, and maybe they know more about fixing your heart. [Or you could... just wind up walking into the fountain, y'know.]

[dissonates]

[Wow, pointing. So useful. Once he's turned, though, Asch's brows furrow, nervous but determined, and he nods.]

Alright... alright. Thanks, I'll be okay from here.

[He'll just... keep on believing in that, yep. It'll be fine. >_>;]
