Thanks, Bolin. I appreciate it. [But he doubts he'd know much that Aang hasn't heard already from the others.]

Oh! Right. They should have your clothes at the clothing shop. It's just one of the weird things about this place. Right this way. [And he walks over in the direction of the shop.]

No problem!

[He follows Aang's lead and falls in step with him, looking around curiously.]

So what's the deal with this place? You said it's called Lucity?

Yeah, Luceti. It's a village trapped inside a bubble that no one can break because of the Malnosso. And the Malnosso are these weird scientist guys who keep us trapped in here and run experiments on us. They keep on saying that they're trying to keep us safe and find a way for us to go back home, and that they're from other worlds too, but they're still real mean to us. And they're fighting a war against the Third Party. They're a bunch of... really scary guys.

So we're stuck with some nasty dudes and they're against even nastier ones? [This all sounds distinctly Not Good. He hopes Korra and Asami have been okay here.] I was really hoping for some downtime after the war with the Equalists.

I'm sorry. You guys deserve rest after all you've been through. But nothing about this place is fair. If it makes it sound any better, we're left to do whatever we want here, most of the time. It's not that often that they do experiments and it's even rarer that we're forced to get involved in their war.

It's not your fault that some of us ended up here, though. [The mentions of experiments gives him a bad feeling but he doesn't mention it.]

So what does everyone do here?

[He nods along, even if he still feels guilty; as the Avatar, he should be able to do more.]

We just live our lives the best we can. There's restaurants and organizations to join, there's a school to attend, and there's a place called the Battle Dome for practice. Training is real important in case of emergencies, and fortunately because there's people from all different worlds, they know many more ways of defense. [He pauses thoughtfully. There has to be something he's missing... oh.] We also have the journals. They're magic books that we use to communicate. You should have one, too.

Oh this thing? [He takes his journal out from where he tucked it into his waistband.] Pabu found it and since it had my name on it I thought it might be important.

[He flips it open curiously] So... it's like a radio shaped like a book?

That's... one way of looking at it. Plus you can write in it and take moving pictures of yourself!

That's actually pretty cool. [He fiddles with it a little bit and holds it up to try taking a picture of Pabu.]

I wish books were this cool back home! I would've tried to read more often!

[He laughs a little at how excited he is by it.]

Normal books are real cool, too! I started reading them because of Jinora. Also, I wish I didn't leave Momo by the house. I'm sure he'd love to meet Pabu.

[He shows the picture to Pabu with a grin.] Look Pabu, it's you!

Momo? [He frowns, trying to remember the stories of Avatar Aang and his companions.] Oh, that's your pet lemur, right?

Yep! That's Momo, alright. I'll make sure to introduce you later. And you can meet Appa, too!
