[The teenage monk appears over the video feed. He's still sporting the chin fuzz he grew back during the tail end of that time travel shift. And he's looking a bit worried, because his first meeting with the Avatar spirit did not go well.]

Hey everyone. This is Aang. I just wanted to ask you all... Can you let me know if you see a specific spirit around anywhere? Really big, glows a lot, kind of looks like a kite but isn't! I think it's kind of important...

If you see her, tell her it's all a misunderstanding and to find me I guess? ...Thanks!

[Action]

[Aang can be found in his daily routine around Luceti: at House 56, by the air gates near that house, checking out the library, manning the Welcome Center or the bakery and also exploring the forest. At almost any of these places, Aang will also be practicing meditation, but he's a little more uneasy than usual.]

Her name's... Raava, I think. She's supposed to be part of me.

A..."part of you"? [Sorry Aang, he doesn't quite understand what it's like to be the Avatar and all that, and would it be rude of him to pry...]

Then, I suppose it's imperative that it's found as soon as possible, right? [Or at least he can only assume, if it's supposed to a part of you and all.]

Yeah... It all has to do with being the Avatar. I had no idea before, but now I think I'm sure that she's the one that makes me the Avatar! [So he has no idea what he's capable of without her.]

It- it's kind of imperative! I mean, as long as there's nothing around that can hurt her, we might be able to take our time...

Hm...I must admit that I'm not familiar with this taste, but I suppose it's important to at least know where she is, even if passing along a message might be difficult. [It's very possible that the spirit might just bolt once he finds and attempts to speak with it, so...]

You said that she left because of a "misunderstanding" between the two of you?

Yeah! ...Well, between us and Wan, too! Because Wan doesn't remember her, and she doesn't remember me, or being the Avatar, and... it's really confusing!

...Ah, I see. From the sound of things, it appears that this spirit has arrived with memories from a time before becoming a part of you, but after having met Wan, who has memories from a time that takes place from before he ever met the spirit.

[Or at least he's pretty sure that's what's going on here.] And, I take it that neither of you were able to explain how such things happen here upon arrival in Luceti sometimes before it took off, hence the misunderstanding. [Hm] This is certainly a complicated taste to contend with...

[Aang nods along.]

Yeah, Cilan, you summed it up really well! I guess it really is a complicated taste... So what do you think?

Hm...in order to clear up this misunderstanding, I think the best thing you can do is just to be honest. Once you find them, explain your side of the situation as best as you can so that they're able to understand what's going on. They might not be happy to hear it, but they deserve the truth. [~~Now if only Cilan was capable of taking his own advice...~~]

Of course, they'll have to be found first, since this is a misunderstanding that needs to be resolved in person.

[So uh, where would an angry spirit be most likely to go around here...]

The truth. That makes sense. [It matches what he's learned during previous timey-wimey shenanigans.] And I do think it should be in person too.

But finding her? Yeah, that'll be the tricky part! What if she doesn't want to be found?

Well, I don't think you can force someone to come out of hiding if they're really that stubborn about it, but...that said, I think you should give it your best shot. Sometimes the most sincere efforts are the ones that are swiftly rewarded.

Plus, it's also possible that she just needs time to think about things, and will make herself known once she's ready to speak with the two of you again. Either way, I'm sure that this misunderstanding can and will be cleared up soon, with enough effort from everyone working together on it.

[Or Cilan's just really optimistic and hopeful enough that you three will work things out, but we digress.]
