[The day is off to a normal start for Aang, starting with airbending practice. He also spends some of the morning using airbending to play around with the leaves on the front lawn of House 56.

After school, he then spends some time cooking at the bakery. He puts together a mix of cookies, cupcakes and some fruit pies of different flavors, and anyone can pop in while he's working on that. He leaves some at the bakery and takes the rest to the Welcome Center, where he sets them up as treats for visiting New Feathers. He spends some time lingering there to do what Welcome Center-ing work there is to be done. And before heading home for dinner, he takes Appa out for a ride flying in the air over Luceti.]

[While Aang's at the Welcome Center, he sets up a video. The treats he prepared are visible on a table in the background. Those who met him during the last experiment can probably pick up over the video that he now looks 15-ish rather than 12, although it's easier to tell the difference in person.]

Hello. How is everyone? It's Aang here, and I've got a few things I wanted to say. First of all, isn't it great that it's autumn now? That's like the best time of the year! Does anyone know any fun things you like to do in autumn? I'd like to try out all kinds of new things.

I... also wanted to say something about the way I was a few weeks ago. When I was littler again. I lied and told some of you I wasn't the Avatar, but I really am. I'm sorry about that. [He pauses for a moment.] Other than that... I left some treats out in the Welcome Center to help greet any New Feathers! If you have any questions about this place, one of us there will do our best to help you. I know lots of things can be confusing and unfamiliar in this place. Come to think of it... Is it just me, or is this New Feather cycle going on longer than usual?

He did! Not long before the comet. And... I've used it. [In that battle with the fire lord... and even again here in Luceti when one of his friends had been charged with electricity after being kidnapped by the Malnosso.]

Good. Well, not that you had to use it, but rather that it proved useful.

It was. It saved my life the first time I used it. From... from the fire lord.

Ozai always did have a knack for lightning, though he achieved it through a lack of emotions as opposed to a sense of peace.

A sense of peace... so that's the key to doing something that's that destructive?

Well, for the separation and guiding of the energy. It is a matter of separating the energies of ying and yang, creating an imbalance, the two energies seek to restore balance, and in the moment they come crashing back together it creates the energy necessary. The user then provides the guidance and direction of this energy.

It's complicated, but... I think I understand. The way you describe it... It sounds really pretty. ...But I don't think the actual lightning is pretty at all. [It did kind of kill him, after all.]

It is certainly a deadly and powerful force. Yet, it occurs naturally as well. There is a savage beauty that can be seen there, especially if you can sit and enjoy in some shelter.

That's true. I think maybe I'll try that some time. And... see if I can see that beauty.

If you have some food with you, you could make a date out of it with Katara.

[Now he's turning red.]

D-date? With... with Katara?

Considering the discovery of having grandchildren, I would not consider it to be unusual.

[Is he going to have to have a birds and bees talk with you Aang?]

Well, I mean - it's complicated. She came to this world years before me, and from a time before she knew about... my feelings. [If anything, the appearance of the grandchildren made it more difficult on Katara who was already struggling with learning that she'd be dating Aang in the future - feeling like she was being forced into a destiny that she wasn't ready to choose.

But things had been better lately. They had been spending more time together.]

But... I think it's still possible. I think we still got a chance.

Of course you do. Love can bloom at anytime, I'm sure things will work out.

I'm glad to hear that, Iroh. [He says with a warm smile. And he remembers back at Ba Sing Se, when Iroh had assured him of the value of holding onto love. It was good to hear him being so supportive again.] It means a lot to me. If anything ever happens... I'll make sure you know.

I look forward to hearing about it then.

[It was nice to see young people in love, they had built it around friendship and respect. A good pillar to start a long lasting relationship.

He strokes his beard a moment. Something had occurred to him]

Right! [He nods quickly.] I should do that. I... I hope you enjoyed my demonstration, Iroh!

Of course. It was a lovely display.

Well, I'll be glad to show you more sometime. I'm gonna keep practicing! And of course, you're always welcome to get treats at the bakery. Until I see you gain... stay flamin'! [He says as he once more gives the Fire Nation-style bow before turning to depart.]
