[The 14-year old monk looks into the video feed with a friendly smile during a break in the rainfall. He's standing on the lawn of House 57, and Appa is chewing down on some hay in the background.]

Hey, everyone! It's me, Aang. It's been a while since I really tried talking to everyone through the book, so I thought I'd give it another try. After all, I really like to make more friends, and it seems like something I should do more anyway now that I work at the Welcome Center! And... in case you only know me from during shifts or something, you should know that I'm not a crimefighter, a little kid or an old man, and right now I'm kinda sick of tea. I'm something that's called an Airbender and the Avatar.

I also want to introduce you to this guy, Appa. He's my sky bison. Say hello, Appa! [Aang moves to the side briefly while Appa gives a lazy bellow.] Isn't he great? So... this is what I have in mind. I wanna take Appa out more and do what I can to explore this place when I have time. And if any of you want, whether I already know you or not, you're free to join me and help me find places to explore. I think I'll do these kinds of adventures throughout the whole week, especially if the weather clears up, so if you wanna come, let me know when!

[There's some chittering noises as a lemur pops out of Aang's sleeve.] You can come too, Momo!

[So throughout the week, Aang rides Appa around the enclosure in search of secrets, adventures and such. Before he sets off, Aang stops by the fountain in the plaza with Appa to wait for any traveling companion. He also could be found running random errands at the Welcome Center.

Also, Appa may be familiar to some because of his fur. Appa arrived back in May, and especially in the time following that, he would have been shedding some fur with the coming of summer. So characters are free to have recognize that fur having been dropped throughout Luceti during his flights.]

Oh, really? I never heard of a tailed beast before. That sounds really interesting, and I can see some of the similarities. [The Avatar State could be as scary as beast though.] It sounds like a big burden to carry a beast in you.

It is. Usually, the person who receives the beast becomes unpopular in the village because people just see that they're carrying a deadly, destructive monster in it. As a result, they're shunned and usually not allowed out of the village. Additionally, organizations chase them down in hopes to extract their power, which would kill the host. This has been changing recently, as we're all fighting a war meant to save the two tailed beasts we have left. [ She sighs. ] We were just a little late arriving to that revelation.

That sounds... horrible. But it's... I guess it's good that your world is learning its lesson. You should see people as people before seeing them as beasts or power.

Yeah. Our tune started changing since Tsunade-sama, our village leader, started to put great faith and trust in him. He saved the Kazekage, and has even saved our village a couple of times. He's gone from a pariah to a symbol where I'm from, and I'm proud of it. I knew he was special a little bit before that... [ Or, more like, two and a half years before that when he trounced her teammate, Neji. She never really talked to him and never had an opinion besides, "Annoying blonde kid" but she still counts herself amongst those that doubted and shunned him. ]

That's great. He shouldn't have had to earn people's trust that way, but I'm glad he still helped everyone in your world with how he was treated.

He's an optimist. He loves the village so much and he dreams one day he'll finally be the leader. Even if we've spat on him and shunned him, he never gave up on us. He was able to get by with some friends and everything, so he wasn't totally destitute and he had people that believed him from close to the start. It was a slow process, but, I think it was one that definitely gave him the drive and values that he now projects so proudly.

He sounds like a really great guy. Is this person here in Luceti?

Yeah! Naruto's still in the village! He's been here longer than I have! [ There's a soft giggle to her tone. She'd never expect someone to compliment Naruto like that, even with all of the praise she's been giving him. ]

That's... N-Naruto? I was... just talking to him... [So weird to believe that the guy he was just talking to about making peace with ants... was actually suffering from that kind of burden.]

So you know him already? That's nice! [ Tenten ignores and side steps his shock. Aang's reaction does indicate a couple of things to her. In fact, it actually strengthens her positive view of Naruto. He's able to conceal his burdens while remaining a true hero in all aspects. ]

Yeah! We were talking about making peace with the ants! He did say he was good at peace stuff too..

Making peace with ants?! What has that boy gotten into these days....

[ Sorry. Aang. She has to marvel over the threats that ants could possibly carry. ]

It's... it's a long story. [It doesn't sound weird until you say it aloud...]

I'm trapped here, in a village, indefinitely. [ She pauses for a second. ] I have the time.
