[The 14-year old monk looks into the video feed with a friendly smile during a break in the rainfall. He's standing on the lawn of House 57, and Appa is chewing down on some hay in the background.]

Hey, everyone! It's me, Aang. It's been a while since I really tried talking to everyone through the book, so I thought I'd give it another try. After all, I really like to make more friends, and it seems like something I should do more anyway now that I work at the Welcome Center! And... in case you only know me from during shifts or something, you should know that I'm not a crimefighter, a little kid or an old man, and right now I'm kinda sick of tea. I'm something that's called an Airbender and the Avatar.

I also want to introduce you to this guy, Appa. He's my sky bison. Say hello, Appa! [Aang moves to the side briefly while Appa gives a lazy bellow.] Isn't he great? So... this is what I have in mind. I wanna take Appa out more and do what I can to explore this place when I have time. And if any of you want, whether I already know you or not, you're free to join me and help me find places to explore. I think I'll do these kinds of adventures throughout the whole week, especially if the weather clears up, so if you wanna come, let me know when!

[There's some chittering noises as a lemur pops out of Aang's sleeve.] You can come too, Momo!

[So throughout the week, Aang rides Appa around the enclosure in search of secrets, adventures and such. Before he sets off, Aang stops by the fountain in the plaza with Appa to wait for any traveling companion. He also could be found running random errands at the Welcome Center.

Also, Appa may be familiar to some because of his fur. Appa arrived back in May, and especially in the time following that, he would have been shedding some fur with the coming of summer. So characters are free to have recognize that fur having been dropped throughout Luceti during his flights.]

[It's during one of these stops at the fountain that Aang might notice a little kid staring wide-eyed and open-mouthed at the sky bison. Ginji's never seen a monster (it's a monster, right?) or any other animal this big before. And how in Auldrant did it just do that?! He'll crane his neck forward, clearly interested in getting a closer look at this thing.]

Whoa...

[~~Maaaaybe action later?~~]

Sick of tea? Perish the thought.

[You might have a sky bison, Aang, but Rokuta has a shouhi. And the two of them are also out and about, roaming the sky above the mountains without really expecting to meet anyone else up there.

Needless to say, Rokuta is a bit curious about another flying beast, especially one that size, and directs Rikaku to head their direction to investigate.]

[Aang smiles at the sight when he noticed it and draws closer, while Appa looks down at the boy inquisitively.]

You like Appa?

[~~of course, of course~~]

I can't remember if you saw me when I was wearing the hat during that experiment the other week, but you should understand if you did. It made me go crazy looking for more and more tea! I don't think I've drinked that much of anything in my life.

[Wow, there's something else up here - it looks like a flying wolf. Too different to be Moro... a flying Moro sounds just silly, anyway. Aang can eventually see there's someone on it, but it's still not close enough for him to recognize Rokuta.

So he starts with just a friendly wave in the direction the the shouhi.]

[Rokuta spots the wave and sits up from his crouch against Rikaku's back, lifting an arm in greeting. That seems like invitation enough to him, so he has his shirei put on a burst of speed, bringing the two of them up to Appa's side in not much time.

Once close enough, Rokuta calls out a greeting with another wave, incredibly curious.]

Hey! Didn't expect to find company up here!

So you nearly drowned yourself in tea. That's... fun.

Only until I got the hat off. You're lucky the doors weren't working right, or I would have found your room and tried to make you some kind of tea slave.

[He looks over with a grin. They're close enough that Aang's able to match the face and voice in his memory.]

Hello! Rokuta, right? I guess neither of us is the only one with a flying companion!

Yeah, that's me. And you're... Aang, right?

[Fortunate meeting, too, since Rokuta had kind of wanted to talk to Aang again some time after he'd had that conversation with Toph.]

I was kinda surprised, I admit— there aren't many around here. Especially this far from the village.

Right!

It's true, the skies here are usually pretty quiet. [Except for that weird creature that raced Appa that one time.] I've just been making sure to take Appa out more often.

[When Beast spots Aang at the plaza, he stiffens up and halts his movement. Aang... what is he to think of him now? He is sure he only broke into his house because of the experiment - and took all of his tea - but what do you say after that happens? He's not mad at him... but he does feel a little... insecure after that week...]

Sky Bison? Are those things native to Luceti, or is it part of your world? [ She looks at him utterly confused for a moment before remembering a conversation she once had with Katara about the cray cray wildlife. ] Do you know a Katara by any chance?

That thing's huge! [At least what Naruto can tell through the journal, but still. Big sky bison is big. And he doesn't even know what a sky bison is.]

[On an afternoon when she has some free time, then, Mia decides to join Aang on his adventure. Seeing what it's all about can't hurt, right?

Until she sees the giant six-legged furry creature lazing about near where Aang is waiting.]

...I thought nothing could surprise me anymore.

[Aang also pauses awkwardly. He feels guilty about the whole tea incident... but he also can now remember that Beast looked really angry back then. Especially because of what he hard from the trees:

"Did you know Beast locked up a girl's father and was going to keep him in a dungeon, even though he was sick? And then he set him free so he could keep the girl in his castle for all eternity? What a creep!"

But he hesitantly approaches - knowing better than to judge others based on the tree's rumors.]

Hello... Beast!

They come from my world! I've known Appa here since I was little. [He rubs the fur on Appa's forehead.] And... yep, she's from the same world, too!

He is! And he has a big appetite too, with five stomachs!

[Aang is lazily reclining against a rock at this point, tossing apples which Appa catches in his mouth.]

[He looks over to the voice with a grin.]

Well, Appa's just full of surprises. Glad you could make it, Mia!

[Rydia perks up as she spots Aang and Appa outside at the plaza, heading to the Welcome Center kitchen to retrieve an apple or few before going outside to join them.]

Hello, Aang! Hello, Appa.

[Want an apple, sky bison?]

[And one of the days Masaomi comes strutting down towards Appa in the plaza. Linda is on his shoulder, but as he goes he's animatedly explaining something to Aang as he nears]

You know, ever since your little announcement, Linda's wanted to battle Appa. Buuuut, I've had to tell her that he's no pokemon. It's been a bit complicated, you know.

Hey, Rydia!

[Aang waves earnestly. And boy does Appa want an apple. He inches towards Rydia and starts to open his mouth.]

[Aang waves to Masaomi and Linda, but he starts to frown slightly at what he says.]

That's right, Appa's not a Pokemon. And he's real peaceful like me. [Flashback to Appa biting Lon Feng and tossing him into the lake.] ...Most of the time.

Fi-- [One second, counting that on his fingers as he tries to believe it.] Five whole stomachs!?
