Book 19: Summer Breeze
[Video]
[There had been a whole mix of things the last few weeks. The return of Korra, the coming of Kai, and the news of more airbenders in Aang's future. It was a lot to reflect on and take in, on top of Zuko and Kai's fighting.
But now, he thinks it's time to try to just breathe and relax. Summer's almost over, and the pool in the backyard of House 56 has been criminally underused this year. So, a fairly chipper-looking monk shows his face on the journals.]
Hey everyone! It's me, Aang. I just thought... since it's summer and all, and it won't be too long until fall... We could all have some fun! We have a pool in our backyard, and anyone's welcome to come and play in it today! It'll be lots of fun, really!
...Oh, and if you don't know where we live, it's House number 56! Follow the road down from the plaza, and when you see a house with two floors that's a got a statue of a guy's head in front of it, you know you've found it!
[Action]
[And so Aang can be found at the pool. There's an earthbending slide that can be ridden from the second floor to the pool, as well as a trampoline set up nearby. Aang will ride the slide and often jump into the pool while using a number of tricks using his airbending and waterbending. The teenage monk can also fooling around in an octopus form.
And of course since he's wearing shorts, his tattoos and scar will be very visible.]
[ooc: This can be an open party post, so feel free to tag around!]

So anyone looking for her might find her hiding around a corner of the house, waterbending at the ready for anyone that walks by- that is, if she doesn't find and throw water in their faces first.
no subject
Who did that?! That... that was really refreshing! I'm glad, I was starting to get really sweaty!
no subject
Aang! You're not supposed to feel refreshed, you're supposed to get angry and join the fight! [ But she laughs anyway. ]
no subject
Why would I ever be mad at you, Korra? [His smile turns mischievous, and he gathers the water in the air in front of him.] That's just silly. But hey, if it's a water fight you want... [Then he thrusts his hands forward, throwing the water straight at Korra.]
no subject
I can't even be mad, because this is what I wanted. [ And then she straightens up and very quickly steps closer to the pool, bending up some water until there's a sphere of it hanging above them. ] Don't move!
no subject
What is it? Is something on me? A bug?

Okay no no no no let's be more clear here, Masaomi Kida has been lurking by pool's edge with his mouse for a long while now, but hasn't really gotten in yet. His pink wings are fluttering, and maybe he's had his toes in, but now he's standing to go and check for a drink on the inside but.
Then Linda says something so back turned. All that good stuff. Prime to be pushed or splashed ]
[ACTION]
Heads up! [ She yells, very helpfully, after she's already pushed him. ]
[ACTION]
...
She bursts out laughing. Wow, wow, that was mean don't do that to her human but that's hilarious ]
[action]
Hey, you okay? [ She calls out, leaning over the pool to look down at him. She does glance at the laughing yellow creature, though, clearly relieved that she's not about to be on the end of a spirit attack (at least yet). ]
He's okay, right?
[action]
Masaomi, though, pops his head out of the water to look up at who is on the edge and- ]
Korra-chan!

And a delighted giggle. He's never had anyone else who could do this before.]

[ She hadn't been expecting the water back so quickly, but suddenly Korra's just as soaked. It takes her a moment to register that, oh, it's the sort-of-waterbender and laugh. ] Hey! I hope you know what you're getting into, here! [ She jokes, before turning closer to the pool and continuing on in dramatic fashion: ]
Stay back, or I'll be forced to attack!
no subject
[Said with all the mock-bravado a small child can manage. He swims toward her, challenging]
no subject
I control the water! It's mine, now! [ And she starts to bed a small (and easily breakable) sort of whirlpool around him. ]
[Action]
Hey, watch it! I just got dry!
[Action]
But it's a pool party! Why would you bother getting dry? [ And then a slight grin forms. ] Don't worry- I can't help you dry off!
[ And now there' s gust of wind heading towards you instead of water. Sorry, Sokka. ]
[Action]
You know, if you're going to try to sound sorry, you should at least try to look sorry.
[Sokka actually doesn't sound mad. He's just be there fake pouting, hoping it'll score an apology.]
[Action]
[ She doesn't look sorry at all. ]
Very sorry. How can I prove it?

And then it happens.
A splash from behind nearly sends him stumbling into the pool. He throws out his arms, yelps, and manages to flip back onto his feet with a quick break dancing move. Doing a swift about-face, he turns to see... Korra?
Pardon Ven if he stares for a couple seconds. It's cut short, however, when reality sets in. Grinning, he waves one of his arms, kicking up a breeze that sends a wave flying over the edge of the pool.
...he ends up getting caught in the wave as well, but hey. Challenge most definitely accepted.]
no subject
Oh, that's how you're gonna play? But it looks like you got wet too- let me help! [ And she sends a small gust of wind of her own over at him. ]
[ACTION]
Korra! That's cheating!
[But hey, while she's here.... She sends a blast of air at the water, causing it to splash everywhere. Sorry non-waterbenders.]
[ACTION]
I'm not a cheater, I'm the pool monster! And I eat airbenders for breakfast! And lunch and dinner! [ And then she sends a small wave towards Jinora. ]
[ACTION]
Then came a joyous shriek at the attack.] If that's the case, I'm afraid you've forced me to defend myself!
[She starts a small air funnel on the water, which picks up water sending it in every direction. Funnily enough - every direction but Jinora's.]
[ACTION]
Oh no, you've found my weakness! Uh… water! That's it, prepare yourself! [ And then she dives under said water, making her way over to Jinora.
She's totally gonna try to grab her feet, the most classic of pool battle tricks. ]
