[There had been a whole mix of things the last few weeks. The return of Korra, the coming of Kai, and the news of more airbenders in Aang's future. It was a lot to reflect on and take in, on top of Zuko and Kai's fighting.

But now, he thinks it's time to try to just breathe and relax. Summer's almost over, and the pool in the backyard of House 56 has been criminally underused this year. So, a fairly chipper-looking monk shows his face on the journals.]

Hey everyone! It's me, Aang. I just thought... since it's summer and all, and it won't be too long until fall... We could all have some fun! We have a pool in our backyard, and anyone's welcome to come and play in it today! It'll be lots of fun, really!

...Oh, and if you don't know where we live, it's House number 56! Follow the road down from the plaza, and when you see a house with two floors that's a got a statue of a guy's head in front of it, you know you've found it!

[Action]

[And so Aang can be found at the pool. There's an earthbending slide that can be ridden from the second floor to the pool, as well as a trampoline set up nearby. Aang will ride the slide and often jump into the pool while using a number of tricks using his airbending and waterbending. The teenage monk can also fooling around in an octopus form.

And of course since he's wearing shorts, his tattoos and scar will be very visible.]

[Not even Jinora can bring herself to stay inside and read when her grandpa invites all of Luceti to their home for playing in the pool. Rather than track water into the house after spending time in the water or even using airbending to dry off in order to use the slide, she'll just propel herself up into the air and land on the top of the slide perfectly.

If she's not in the pool then she's on the trampoline all dried off. Airbending helps get great height both for her and other people who might be jumping with her too. She's being careful so as to knock anyone off-balance or off the trampoline.]

[Seeing Jinora have fun on that trampoline is a very bittersweet sight; it wasn't that long ago that Ikki was bouncing on it. But it's the present now. He should focus on having fun right now.

After he's dried a bit, he hops on over to the trampoline to join her.]

Room for one more?

[Jinora doesn't see him approach but that doesn't catch her off-guard either. Instead she just turns in her grandpa's direction and bounces over to make room.]

Looks like it!

Great! [And he's sure to bounce around her.]

You're doing a good jump with your bouncing, Jinora!

[ Wow and he had just gotten up to the top of the line the conventional way. When there's a little airbender who landed down in front of him. The young man brushes back some hair, and sighs a little ]

See, now we need to decide who's first in line.

[ He's joking.

Mostly ]

[Whoops! That's usually Ikki's job - cutting in front of people.]

Sorry! You were here first so you should go. [She'll just try to get around him so she can move towards the opening in the side of the house.]

[ Oh. He arches an eyebrow, wondering how Ikki might have responded to that... oh well ] No, no! I've got to be like several years older than you, right? Please, I insist.

[ And he motions for the slide. Go on, don't worry.

[Probably would have gone, or suggested they go together.]

If you go first, I can give you a boost to go faster.

So you're volunteering to blow me down?

Volunteering to make it even more fun.

And I don't even need to pay you back?

Deal.

Nope! [With the house to her back, she motions for him to get ready - however he wants to go down the slide.]

[ Okay, okay. He pats his chest and makes to sit down on the slide - he's going to make and slide down on his butt. Fine, fine. Thumbs up! Let's rock ]

[With some strange moves, a gust of wind comes from Jinora's direction that's aimed straight for him. It's a strong one - strong enough to get him really going but not too strong that it hurts, now or when he hits the water.]

[ It does put a little pressure on his pink wings but-

Yeah no he's just shot out now down the water and shooting him down at high speed. He laughs here, enjoying it and folding his arms about himself to go down on his back (mostly) before getting to the end, skimming the top of the water for a bit, and then sinking down. Ooooh ]

[Exactly why she tried to be careful.

She watches his descent down the slide, smiling the entire time. It isn't until he's under the water that she laughs. Then steps up to the center of the slide herself. Rather than sitting down, Jinora stays standing. An air boost for herself and down she comes.

Probably around the time he's coming out of the water is about the time she's sailing over his head. She lands near him with a huge splash.]

[ Oh now that was some skill. By now, he's treading water, laughing himself. He knows he must've looked silly there, and he wasn't exactly trying to look cool either. At her leap, and her splash, he claps for her, keeping it up so that she'll still be able to hear it once she surfaces. that was impressive.

[When she does come up, it's with a grin. She gives him a little bow.]

[Ven happens to spot her while she's bouncing on the trampoline, and he takes a few moments to admire her use of airbending to get those insanely high bounces.

Crossing his arms, he briefly ponders using Aero spells to achieve the same result. Hmm... Well, first thing's first.]

Man, I never would've thought of using air to jump like that. I'll have to remember that for later.

[Seeing him over the journals in those tiny little mover boxes isn't quite like seeing him in person. So at first and from a distance, Jinora doesn't quite recognize him.

Then he comes closer.]

Ven! It's really fun. You should try it! Don't worry, I'll help.

Aw, you sure? I don't wanna be too much trouble.

[But you know what? Just for the heck of it, he's gonna use a short burst of wind to help him bound onto that trampoline. It's nowhere near as strong as Jinora's, but he's still getting the hang of adapting his spells for more practical purposes.]

I'm sure! It's not as much fun to bounce by myself.

[Grinning at him. While he tries to use his, Jinora is keeping an eye on him to make sure that he doesn't accidentally shoot himself off in one direction too far.]

Come on, I won't let you fall.

You got it.

[Grinning, he crouches down nice and low and then springs up and onto the trampoline. Upon landing, he shifts around a little. Truth be told, his experience with trampolines is limited to a vague knowledge that they exist and that they seem fun.]

Y'know, I've always wondered what these things are made of.

[She's already moved over so that there's enough room for them both without them bouncing into each other right away. Don't worry, Ven, she was like that the first time.]

I'm not sure. I thought about looking it up in the library and got distracted.

Really? So didja find something else there?

[And if so, what? Darn it, now she's piqued his curiosity. How could he not ask?

Well, in the mean time, he'll get started with a great big jump. SPROING!]
