I have had similar feelings, Eleytheria... and I've tried to help others who also have. It's the kind of feeling that can be dangerous... especially for people like Avatars - or spirits. [He glaces towards Eley.]

One part is letting your friends be close to you and help you. Their support can be the most valuable thing... and they remind you the most of who you are. Which is also... the person you'd lose if you went down the path of revenge. Good friends can pull you back from going too far.

["Monk Gyatso and the other airbenders may be gone, but you still have a family. Sokka and I, we're your family now."

"Do you remember when we were at the air temple and you found Monk Gyatso's skeleton? It must have been so horrible and traumatic for you. I saw you get so upset that you weren't even you anymore. I'm not saying the Avatar state doesn't have incredible—and helpful power. But you have to understand, for the people who love you, watching you be in that much rage and pain is really scary."]


You have to find a way to let go of those feelings. Either by calming it through meditation... or by finding a way to release that anger without hurting others.
