[This morning, Aang did not wake up in his bed. No, he woke up some ways outside of the village, with an old friend. It took soe time for Aang and Suki to come to grips, but eventually the facts became clear. Suki had come back to Luceti without memories. At the same time, Aang had spent an overnight trip home. He lived out several days at home, where he saw the Yu Dao conflict through to its end and founded the air acolytes.

And now he was back. In Luceti. He knew who Ikki was again. One of the first things he did upon realizing what happened was scribbling a journal message for everyone at home - assuring them he was still around. It might be hard to tell he was gone if anyone was awake that early. After all, he didn't have many possessions, and his room was shared with Roku who was keeping a more irregular sleeping schedule during the draft. The only visible evidence would be the absence of the prayer beads which he had given to Ikki.

So Aang spent most of the morning helping Suki to adjust, hoping that her memories of her previous stay would be awakened. He wasn't really so familiar to people returning without memories. But eventually they parted ways so that Suki could be reunited with Sokka. Once he saw that only a night had passed during his absence, he had guessed that he might have been the only one to go home. The others might still be there. The same as he left them. So he headed to House 56 to check in with everyone next and give the physical proof of his presence. He came fully clothed in his air nomad robes, wielding a set of prayer beads that were notably missing a Fire Nation emblem.

Once all the bases are touched, Aang tries to go about his daily schedule as usual, probably being late for school and skipping out on the Welcome Center to instead explore the forest. Now that he remembers, he looks around carefully for any sign of Moro's presence.]

[And this video message is recorded before dinner, when he stops back at the house between forest treks.]

Hey, everyone. It's me, Aang. This place is really weird sometimes. I used to think when people went home, they stayed home, at least for a long time. But sometimes people have been gone for just a few weeks, and me... I was just gone for one night. I doubt anyone noticed, but I'm still sorry if I worried anyone. And my friend Suki came back too. Really unpredictable, right?

Still, some of you might be pleased to know that at home, only a few days passed, but things are really turning out for the better. Things are even more at peace, and I feel more connected with my people than ever. I hope everyone's having a great autumn, while it lasts.

[Spock gives Aang a half-smile, then the screen goes blank. He heads out the door and goes to the Dome.

Once there he stands by the entrance, waiting for his young companion.]

[And somewhere within fifteen minutes, Aang will be arriving in style on his air scooter. It's not hard to pick out his peculiar new friend.]

Here's one to start with - the air scooter!

[And he dissipates it as he draws near.]

Hello, Spock!

[Spock watches Aang on the glider with obvious fascination...]

That is most impressive Mister Aang, it is well to meet you in person. [Spock bows his head.]

It's well to meet you in person, too, Spock. Even more than well - swell! Great!

[And he gives his own type of bow.]

[Spock quirks an eyebrow at the obvious enthusiasm this youth is projecting.... curious.]

Indeed. How are you able to maintain flight?

That's one thing I can do with Airbending! I can bend the air around my glider so it's like I'm flying!

[Spock looks absolutely fascinated...]

This 'bending'... are you able to describe the physical sensation behind the control?

Uh, sure! I basically do all kinds of movements with my body while focusing on what I'm trying to bend. I can kinda feel it, I guess, like it's an extension of me that can be moved. And like I'm really part of the world.

[As he speaks, he moves around, making spiral movements similar to this and can be recognized as being nearly identical to Baguazhang. And the wind notably swirls around Aang as he moves, softly but still notably, a calm breeze.]

That is most fascinating Mister Aang... [Spock studies every movement he makes... dedicating it all to memory.]

How do the moves change when dealing with a different element?

Well, they all use different kinds of movements. Airbending's all about circular movements. [He then roots his feet in the ground in an earthbending stance.] While earthbending is about being firm and decisive. [He bluntly punches forward to launch a rock through the air.] While waterbending's more about soft, flowing movements, and you can turn others' offense against them. [He then does some Waterbending movements, even without having any water nearby; this resembles tai chi.] And then there's firebending, which is more about being quick and precise. [He step away from Spock before doing some quick Firebending movements, resembling kung fu, and releasing some small, controlled bursts of fire with his punches and kicks.]

I see... quite a few of those movements are similar to Vulcan styles of combat.. specifically Suus Mahna.

And you are able to wield all elements because you are the...Avatar? [Spock is amazed... the individuals he is discovering here in Luceti are incredibly interesting.]

Wow, they are? Can you bend the elements, too!

Yep, that sure is me alright! The Avatar. Using all four elements and helping the world!

Negative. It is merely the fighting style that is similar.

[Spock is amused at the youth's personality...He was rather energetic...] Can everyone from your Universe bend the elements?

Not everyone. Lots of people can't bend anything at all. Like my best friend Sokka! He uses a boomerang instead.

[Spock lifts an eyebrow at that statement... a boomerang? Interesting.] He must be quite proficient with it in order to utilize it as a weapon. Is he here in Luceti?

Yeah, he's one of the guys who runs the smithy! He's got a beard - and one day, I'll have one, too!

[Spock's mouth quirks in half-smile and the youth's comment... He was becoming rather fond of this being...]

Ah yes... I am acquainted with one Mister Haddock who works there... I have yet to visit the establishment.

...May I inquire as to what you do for recreation? [That was Spock's way of asking what you do for fun....]

Mister Haddock? [He blinks as he tries to place the name.] Is that... Hiccup? [Being the only dude he knows who works at the smithy and isn't Sokka, even if he didn't know his last name.] But you should stop by sometime! The people there are friendly and they can make all kinds of neat things for you.

For recreation? Lots of stuff! I like to practice my bending, glide around, ride animals, meditate, spend time with my friends and also play different types of games with my friends and my granddaughter!

It is indeed Hiccup to whom I am referring. I will make sure to visit their workplace sometime soon.

[Spock tilts his head at Aang.... and is silent. He blinks a couple of times, wondering where to start with the questions.]

The various timelines in which people enter Luceti is proving rather fascinating. You have a grandchild here?

That's good. Hiccup's a good friend, and he has a dragon.

I do! She's here from - from really far in the future. I won't even be having kids for a long time! But I'm really glad and thankful to have met her here. She's amazing.
