[He keeps his eyes closed, keeping focused. He feels something building inside him, and he's excited that this is actually working. When he finally pushes his hand out, it isn't fire that appears, but a spark of lightning.

Oh.

Well.

This is cool too.]

[He sees the lightning sparkle across his range of vision. Something inside him clenches, seizing, as if his body is remembering something terrible that his mind can't. And he just stares, gaping.]

That... wasn't exactly fire.

[Who cares! He turns to Bonzu.] Did you see that? [He looks down at his hands, amazed by the secrets they hide.] I didn't know I could do anything like that!

[He gets over the shock as he lets himself get swept up in Mithos's excitement.]

Yeah! That was... amazing! I can't believe it.

If what you did is firebending, then that was lightningbending, right? [Right...there are a lot of different elements that can be used like this...]

Yeah, I guess you could say that! I wonder if there are any other lightning benders... I should research that. [Of course, more thorough research would show that lightning's counted as fire in his world, so Mithos could technically be considered a firebender.]

Maybe I should too. [It feels really important, he just knows it.]

It's lucky I ran into you...I would never have known anything about this if I hadn't! [HE IS NOW, LIKE. A HUNDRED TIMES COOLER.]

I'm Mithos. [See, he can totally make friends! But he has to wonder why his card told him that...]
