Hello, Aang-kun! ヾ(＾∇＾)

It seems like we're kind of like penpals now, right? Or at least, that's what Stalker-san said. ヽ（´ー｀） I hope he doesn't mind me taking so long though.

Anyway, I apologize for not being able to contact you before, but my name is Hayate Ayasaki! ☆ I'm looking forward to getting to talk to you more.

Hello, Hayate! It's nice to finally talk to you. I should apologize, myself, too. I had forgotten about this whole penpal thing - I wasn't exactly myself the week that it was posted. I really look forward to getting to know you too. I can never make enough friends!

That's alright, Aang-kun! If I remember correctly, that was during an experiment, anyway, right? 〈(゜。゜) I think I was fortunate enough to not be very affected by it, but my memories will still a little different at the time. ( ´＿`)

So, for the first question... What kind of place are you from?

I'm from Japan though! It's on Earth. Have you heard of it before? 〈(゜。゜)

I've heard of Japan! That's where that Masaomi guy comes from. And I think I did live on an Earth like that in my other life too, but I was in the place called America.

Ahh, really? [...wait.] In your other life? 「(°ヘ°)

Yeah, that's from the experiment I was talking about, when they made me think I was another Robin. But I'd really rather talk about my actual life. I have had previous lives back home, since I'm the Avatar. Reincarnation's one part of the Avatar cycle. So I have a whole bunch of past lives from the different nations in my world.

[Hmm. That all sounds vaguely familiar. Like something out of an anime or a cartoon or something. ...Ah, whatever.]

Ohh, that sounds interesting! What exactly is an Avatar though? ( ・◇・)？ If you don't mind me asking.

Sure, you can ask! That's kind of the point of this. In my world, there are four elements, and benders are people who can manipulate an element. The Avatar's the only person who can learn all four elements and is reincarnated every time he dies. So in my world, I'm the current Avatar. I have duties to maintain the world's balance, and I also act as the bridge to the spirit world. Lots of boring stuff like that!

Oh wow! I don't think that sounds very boring at all, Aang-kun. In fact, it sounds rather exciting. (*´・ｖ・) It must be hard having such a large responsibility though. ヾ(×× ) ﾂ

Thanks! It has been hard, really hard. I had to help out a lot during the war and beat the Fire Lord. It's still hard to believe I actually pulled it off. I guess it helps that I had such great friends by my side the whole time!

I could imagine it being that way! （ﾉ´д｀） It does sound like a difficult task. It's nice that you had such good friends of yours backing you up on it all though. ヾ(＾∇＾) Are any of them here in Luceti?

Yeah! All of my best friends are here, actually, and we all live together! You probably know some of them. Katara and Sokka have been around here a long time. And my other friends are Zuko and Toph and Roku. It's actually bad that we're all stuck here in Luceti, but I still kinda feel glad to have them all here.

Actually, I'm afraid I've never met any of them before! ( ꒪Д꒪)ノ But I may have heard their names here and there. You must be happy to have them all here with you! ヽ（´ー｀）

Yeah. I guess it's something that you have to say in Luceti: it's horrible that we're brought here and some of the things they've been forced to do, but it's also really great that we're all here together. You should meet them sometime, they're great! Sokka usually works at the smithy, and some of us attend the school, so you should keep your eyes open.

But what about you? What kind of friends do you have?

I'm planning on attending the school here sometime, so I suppose I'll get to see some of them then! (*´∇`)ﾉ I'll keep my eyes open anyway though.

But ah, none of my friends from home are here, actually. ヾ( ' - '*) They're all very nice though, and each of them is quite different from the others.

Really? We can get to know each other more at school, too, then!

Oh, I'm sorry your friends aren't here. At least they should be safe at home! It sounds like they're good friends.

And I suppose so. It'd be nice to have them here, but I'd rather not wish for them to be stuck here as well. ヽ（´ー｀） If they ever do happen to come though, I'll make sure to introduce you to them.

Thanks, Hayate! I'll always welcome new friends, especially in a place that can get really bad like this. And I guess it's good that you're making new friends here at least, until you can see your ones back home again!
