[The 14-year old monk looks into the video feed with a friendly smile during a break in the rainfall. He's standing on the lawn of House 57, and Appa is chewing down on some hay in the background.]

Hey, everyone! It's me, Aang. It's been a while since I really tried talking to everyone through the book, so I thought I'd give it another try. After all, I really like to make more friends, and it seems like something I should do more anyway now that I work at the Welcome Center! And... in case you only know me from during shifts or something, you should know that I'm not a crimefighter, a little kid or an old man, and right now I'm kinda sick of tea. I'm something that's called an Airbender and the Avatar.

I also want to introduce you to this guy, Appa. He's my sky bison. Say hello, Appa! [Aang moves to the side briefly while Appa gives a lazy bellow.] Isn't he great? So... this is what I have in mind. I wanna take Appa out more and do what I can to explore this place when I have time. And if any of you want, whether I already know you or not, you're free to join me and help me find places to explore. I think I'll do these kinds of adventures throughout the whole week, especially if the weather clears up, so if you wanna come, let me know when!

[There's some chittering noises as a lemur pops out of Aang's sleeve.] You can come too, Momo!

[Action]

[So throughout the week, Aang rides Appa around the enclosure in search of secrets, adventures and such. Before he sets off, Aang stops by the fountain in the plaza with Appa to wait for any traveling companion. He also could be found running random errands at the Welcome Center.

Also, Appa may be familiar to some because of his fur. Appa arrived back in May, and especially in the time following that, he would have been shedding some fur with the coming of summer. So characters are free to have recognize that fur having been dropped throughout Luceti during his flights.]

[Aang looks into the camera to speak, then move to the side to give Sanji a better view of Appa.]

Yeah, that's Appa! Isn't he great?

[He will pointedly not mention that his first thought was along the lines of "I wonder what sky bison tastes like".]

I think Katara-chan or Sokka mentioned him before, but I didn't realize he'd be that... big...

[By doing so, he preserves Aang's heart.]

Oh. I guess he's just bigger than the animals most people are used to. He's still real friendly!

I'll have to meet him sometime. [He's met a substantial amount of the Avatar cast already]

... Say, what type of food does he like?

[It's only fair, Aang's been making a rounds of the One Piece cast.]

You can meet him anytime! He shouldn't be easy to miss when he's flying around.

He likes all kinds of food but vegetarian like me. He really likes apples and cabbages and hay.

Pretty simple diet for a big guy. [Chin rub.]

And I guess this means I better watch out when I'm up in the air myself.

When I need to be. Though it's more like walking on air. [He's still proud of the move... even if it has terrifying origins]

Whoa... you can Sky Walk? That's amazing! I never guessed you could have done such a thing... Does that mean you're related to Luke Skywalker?

--Not even close! [grumbling] I don't even know who that guy is.

You don't? My mistake. He's a Jedi. But your ability's still real aweome. You can walk up to Appa and say hi anytime!

And I'll make sure to do that... so long as he doesn't startle and smack me in the face. [Or try to eat him, vegetarian or not]

Well they're kinda like monks with special powers that they call The Force.

But don't worry! Appa won't hurt you. ...I think. He's probably gotten used to weird things like this by now.

So they're like magical monks or something?

[He arches a brow] Even shit like appearing in a new world?

Yeah, I guess it's kinda like magic, but it's real spirit-y.

Heh... [Language.] Well I think appearing here has helped him to get used to weird things. He's been around a few months now.

So more like you. [At least, from what he's heard]

[And oh Aang, you will be hearing that word frequently.] Has he really? [Sanji sounds somewhat surprised] Maaah, and I've never seen him before now...

I would've helped fed him if I'd known.

Yeah, they are kinda similar to the air nomads and a little like the Avatar in their duties!

Guess you must have missed him! But it's okay, I'm sure you'll spot him soon enough.

Heh, interesting. I guess there's something like that in a lot of worlds.

And I'll look forward to it! Maybe he can meet Biri, too.

Yeah, there's plenty of weird things different worlds got in common. I even met a guy who was frozen in ice just like me!

Great. He actually will meet Biri pretty soon! I just arranged to meet Vivi and Biri later today for some flying.

... Tell me he wasn't frozen for a hundred shitty years, too. [Because that's just a really sad experience to be sharing with someone.]

Aaaah, so you're going to meet Vivi-chan~! [Aang is still pretty young (at least in Sanji's eyes) so he greets the statement with excitement rather than flames of fury] Maybe I should join you two-- er, four.

He didn't say. But it was long enough that he was living in his own future.

Yeah, I guess this is our first official meeting! When she was a kid, she already made good friends with my granddaughter. And you'd be welcome to join, too!

My granddaughter Ikki. You met her right?

Yeah, when Vivi-chan brought her over for cake!

[Pointing at the screen incredulously] You're her grandfather?
