[The 14-year old monk looks into the video feed with a friendly smile during a break in the rainfall. He's standing on the lawn of House 57, and Appa is chewing down on some hay in the background.]

Hey, everyone! It's me, Aang. It's been a while since I really tried talking to everyone through the book, so I thought I'd give it another try. After all, I really like to make more friends, and it seems like something I should do more anyway now that I work at the Welcome Center! And... in case you only know me from during shifts or something, you should know that I'm not a crimefighter, a little kid or an old man, and right now I'm kinda sick of tea. I'm something that's called an Airbender and the Avatar.

I also want to introduce you to this guy, Appa. He's my sky bison. Say hello, Appa! [Aang moves to the side briefly while Appa gives a lazy bellow.] Isn't he great? So... this is what I have in mind. I wanna take Appa out more and do what I can to explore this place when I have time. And if any of you want, whether I already know you or not, you're free to join me and help me find places to explore. I think I'll do these kinds of adventures throughout the whole week, especially if the weather clears up, so if you wanna come, let me know when!

[There's some chittering noises as a lemur pops out of Aang's sleeve.] You can come too, Momo!

[So throughout the week, Aang rides Appa around the enclosure in search of secrets, adventures and such. Before he sets off, Aang stops by the fountain in the plaza with Appa to wait for any traveling companion. He also could be found running random errands at the Welcome Center.

Also, Appa may be familiar to some because of his fur. Appa arrived back in May, and especially in the time following that, he would have been shedding some fur with the coming of summer. So characters are free to have recognize that fur having been dropped throughout Luceti during his flights.]

He is! And he has a big appetite too, with five stomachs!

[Aang is lazily reclining against a rock at this point, tossing apples which Appa catches in his mouth.]

Fi-- [One second, counting that on his fingers as he tries to believe it.] Five whole stomachs!?

That's crazy! I didn't know you could have more than one!

It's pretty weird, huh? But it's true! I bet there are other big animals with more than one stomach, too.

[Holy shit.] Do ya think there's one with... like, a hundred?

Maybe! But... would there be enough food in the world for something that big?

Oh, nah. Probably not. [...] Unless they're a hundred really small stomachs!

Whoa. If you think of it like that... an ant could have a hundred really tiny stomachs without any of us even knowing!

Dude! That makes a ton of sense! Why else would they steal all that food so much bigger than 'em!?

Hey, we're really onto something here! I bet no one wondered that before. It is the only way they could fit all that food... They must spend a really long time eating.

[Incoming straight face.] We've gotta find out for real.

But... how? [Will he have to ask Sokka to use science?]

We tail some ants, how else?!

Well if it was the other week, we could have become tiny from going through doors and found out firsthand! Except... it'd be pretty hard to escape being eaten by ants when they're giant.

... Yeah, I wanna figure out if they've got a ton of stomachs, but not by bein' in 'em. Or seein' 'em up close.

Okay then, we'll go with following them while we're all normal sized! That sounds like the safer plan!

Right! Unless they've got some giant ant hidden underground, waitin' to eat up anyone who tries to bully the little guys...

Whoa, a giant ant... that would be really smart of them. You don't think that... what if they have more than one brain, too?

... N-No way! There's no way they're gonna be that smart, right!?

If they have a giant ant and a hundred brains each, they gotta be smarter than anyone!

This sounds dangerous.

It could be. But in my world, I'm what's called the Avatar. My name's Aang. Keeping peace is all part of my job, so maybe I can negotiate with them!

For real? [No idea what an Avatar is, but it sounds important.] I'm Naruto, and I'm a shinobi! I've had some pretty good luck with talkin' things over too.
