Book 17.5: Fourth Wall

[Behold Aang, the young air nomad. Physically 15 and now mentally about 16, he's grown quite a bit from his time in the Hundred Year War.

Today seemed like a good day to visit the library. He found out from Duck that there were stories out there where the characters came to life and left the story. So now he's checking around to see if he can find any books like this. Only to find unexpected visitors of a different variety...

Alternately? He can be found out in front of House 56, deep in meditation, trying to see if he can reach his past lives...]

[Aang is tackled over like a sack of potatoes.]

Thanks! [He says while being squeezed. And meekly tries to squeeze back.] Just watch out for my wings.

Of course! Wings have to be handled delica--wait, wings?!

[ STARING AT wow those are cute though. ]

Y-yeah, wings! [He says bashfully as he gives them a light flutter.]

Whooaaa, these are incredible! Are they real? Can you fly? Are you an angel?! Am I in heaven right now!

Um... They're real! They can't fly. I'm not an angel, just Aang. And this isn't heaven, it's Luceti.

Whoever heard of wings that can't fly? And maybe you aren't an angel, but you could certainly be an Aangel.

I know! It didn't make sense to me either. [But he laughs at it.] Maybe I am! As long as I get to be alive, I don't mind being that!

Then it's decided. Okay, Aangel-san, I want wings too!

You do? Um...

Okay!

[So he bends some of the snow around into wings and loosely attaches them to her back.]

[ KYAAA SNOW ANGEL ty snow aangel. ]

Having wings is so cool!

... And cold!

[The snowiest angel. Aang just looks in with mild concern.]

Is it too cold for you?

I can handle it! I have to be cooler than cool, that's all!

You can do that? Do you have powers?

I have the power to chill out!

[ esp for Ryuko but hey. ]

Cool! Can you show me?

[ zZZZZZZzz ]

Hey.. you're sleeping!

[ STILL SNORING as she slumps over and crushes snow-wings, whooops. ]

[Oh no those wings are your life! He's hopping down to tend to her.]

Are you okay?

[ SNAPPING BACK AWAKE right then. ]

C-cold! That's probably as chill as I'll get!

Um... okay! That's... really neat?
