Book 17.5: Fourth Wall

[Behold Aang, the young air nomad. Physically 15 and now mentally about 16, he's grown quite a bit from his time in the Hundred Year War.

Today seemed like a good day to visit the library. He found out from Duck that there were stories out there where the characters came to life and left the story. So now he's checking around to see if he can find any books like this. Only to find unexpected visitors of a different variety...

Alternately? He can be found out in front of House 56, deep in meditation, trying to see if he can reach his past lives...]

[Mako stares, then, rolling his eyes up, sighs.] Fine. [So he'll mimic Aang – this is all too eerie now – and jump on, if with a complete lack of grace that Aang exhibits.]

Now let's go - yip yip! [And he makes some circular motions with his hands, so that the air scooters take off moving in synch, heading straight towards Avatar House.]

[The air ride is a completely out of the world experience, to say the least. But Mako is less dazzled by the privilege than he is baffled and nervous, the mechanics of the entire thing being so foreign. He thinks it's a miracle he didn't fall off.

This is all kinds of ridiculous.]

[And soon they're coming to a stop by the Sokka stone head statue near House 56.]

Now watch your butt!

[Because those air scooters? They're dissipating. And Aang gracefully drifts onto his feet, like a cat descending through a mild updraft.]
