Book 17.5: Fourth Wall

[Behold Aang, the young air nomad. Physically 15 and now mentally about 16, he's grown quite a bit from his time in the Hundred Year War.

Today seemed like a good day to visit the library. He found out from Duck that there were stories out there where the characters came to life and left the story. So now he's checking around to see if he can find any books like this. Only to find unexpected visitors of a different variety...

Alternately? He can be found out in front of House 56, deep in meditation, trying to see if he can reach his past lives...]

Just you wait! I will destroy the last airbender!

[When he's finally closed the distance between the two of them, he'll try and grab Aang by his shoulders.]

[While Aang just nopes out of the way, sliding to the side.]

Sorry Zhao, but you're gonna have to try harder than that.

[moonslayer]

[Fine, he will try harder! In fact, he's trying so hard that he's virtually clawing in Aang's direction.]

Get back here! Get back here and fight me like a man!

[Whoa! He really is cutting loose. But luckily Aang has the perfect counter to someone acting so aggressive: by being level-headed and calmly ducking back from his swipes.]

No thanks! I'd rather fight you like an airbender. It's a lot more fun!

[In a weird way, he almost missed this. ...Except that Zhao's clear state of being unhinged kind of ruins that feeling.]

Airbenders are mortal men like the rest of us! I will destroy you!

[Excuse him while he flails and swipes at Aang in a poor attempt to get to him. Maaan, if he still had his bending...!]

[Then he'd be able to trick him into setting other things on fire instead. ...Which admittedly could go quite wrong.

As it is, Aang keeps on dodging smugly.]

Are you okay, Zhao? You seem a lot less firey than usual!

[While Aang then manages an airbending hop into the air - to land right on top of Zhao's head and then bounce off to laugh behind him, giggling all the way.]

[Freakin' Avatar with his freakin' air bending! Just you wait till Zhao gets a hold of you! Until then, he'll just shout a lot and grope around.]

Raaaaah!!! Are you a man or are you an eel hound?!

Good question... Maybe I'm both! [He says with a giggle, as he continues his evasive tactics.]

[Another shout of rage as Zhao lunges at Aang, but this time he stumbles and falls, hitting the ground with a loud thud.

The great Admiral Zhao, everybody!]

[And the game's gone on long enough. Aang uses some earthbending on the ground around him, trying to shackle his hands and feet to the ground.]

Alright, Zhao. It's time to relax.

[Oh crap. Crap! He can't free himself from the rocky shackles, but he can still squirm pathetically.]

You can't stop me like this, Avatar! I will capture you! I am Zhao the invincible!

But I did stop you like this, just now! Why don't we just calm down and talk a little, okay?
