I guess we have some interests in common, but it's not really that much like what you're thinking about. The Avatar's reincarnated whenever he or she dies, and we do kinda have the same soul, but we're each kinda like our own person at the same time. We don't have that telepathy stuff, but back home I could use the Spirit World to talk to the spirits of any of my past lives.
